This role requires hands-on NetSuite experience. You must have personally owned month-end close and multi-entity consolidation in NetSuite — not viewed reports or entered data. If you have not run closes in NetSuite yourself, this is not the right role. Based on-site in our Islamabad office, you will lead accounting execution for a US-headquartered group, working hours that overlap the US East Coast morning.

About BroadPeak

BroadPeak Investment Group is an operator-led private investment firm and family office founded by Tariq Farid. We build, acquire, and grow founder-led businesses across our portfolio — spanning 7+ brands and companies across four continents in franchising and multi-unit retail, real estate and hospitality, sports and entertainment, technology and AI, supply chain and logistics, and EV and mobility. We don't just write checks; we operate. Our Islamabad accounting function is the delivery engine for the group's shared-services finance operation — closing the books, running consolidation, and reporting to US leadership on a US calendar.

The Role

You own accounting execution end to end. You run the close, keep the ledgers audit-ready, and deliver clean, on-time reporting to US management — while building the discipline and controls a shared-services function depends on. You lead the execution; the group's external-auditor relationship and M&A technical calls sit with the Director of Accounting in Dubai, whom you'll partner with closely.

Your First 6 Months

  • Take full ownership of the month-end close and reconciliation cycle in NetSuite, on the US calendar.
  • Bring the close to a clean, predictable, audit-ready state across the assigned entities.
  • Own multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation with accurate intercompany elimination.
  • Stand up or tighten P2P / R2R process discipline, balance-sheet roll-forwards, and management reporting.
  • Prepare the audit package and lead audit execution for the annual cycle.

What You Will Own

  • Month-end close — the full cycle in NetSuite, delivered on the US East Coast calendar.
  • Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation — intercompany, CTA/FX, and elimination.
  • Financial reporting & controls — GL integrity, balance-sheet roll-forwards, management reporting, and audit-readiness.
  • Compliance execution — VAT/sales-tax, statutory filings, and ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition where applicable.
  • Audit execution — preparing the package and running the annual audit under the Dubai Director's technical oversight.
  • Team delivery — leading and developing the Islamabad accounting team to a reliable, accountable operating standard.

What You Bring

  • Non-negotiable — hands-on NetSuite: you have personally run month-end close and multi-entity/multi-currency consolidation in NetSuite.
  • Non-negotiable — qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, ACMA (ICMAP), CA (ICAP), CPA, or equivalent.
  • Non-negotiable — 10+ years in accounting, with 5+ years in a controller or accounting-management leadership role.
  • Non-negotiable — on-site Islamabad and able to work hours overlapping the US East Coast morning.
  • Ideal background: shared-services or offshore delivery for US/international group entities; NetSuite implementation or migration experience; US GAAP alongside IFRS; VAT/tax compliance; M&A accounting exposure.

How You Work

  • You own the number, not just the task — you close it, tie it out, and stand behind it.
  • You hold a calendar and hit it, and you build the controls that make the close repeatable.
  • You communicate clearly with US leadership across time zones.
  • You raise the standard of the people around you.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a senior, controller-level role, and compensation reflects that — market-leading for an experienced profile, with a full benefits package in line with market standards including medical coverage, paid leave, and performance-based incentives. Finalized at the offer stage. Strong performance is recognized and rewarded as the team and the business grow.

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan — on-site, working hours that overlap the US East Coast morning.
